The
upcoming 2016 Subaru Outback will be entering the market with a bang
as it features not just one, but two super technology systems that
prioritize comfort and passenger safety.
For
some time now Subaru cars have already been ahead in terms of safety
technology upgrades, but the 2016 version will be another milestone
for the entire auto industry.
EyeSight
Amongst
the already present features of the current EyeSight system are Lane
Departure and Sway Warning, Adaptive Cruise control, automatic
pre-collision brake, blind-spot detection, and rear-cross traffic
alert, which are all available in the optional packages. To be added
to these is the Lane Keep Assist feature that provides steering
assist to direct the car back within its lane, once it reaches 40
mph.
Starlink
The
infotainment Starlink of Subaru now goes well beyond a simple
entertainment system, as it adds some emergency safety features.
These include the Automatic Collision Intofication, which sends an
emergency report once an airbag has been deployed, the SOS Emergency
Assistance, which connects you to a Starlink advisor once you press
the emergency button, the Stolen Vehicle Recovery, which can help the
police find your missing car, and the Diagnostics Alert, which
automatically tells you if something is wrong with your car.
Individually
both are already very impressive systems, but when combined, they
make the 2016 Subaru Outback, not only the best but also the safest
drive.
